The call of evangelist is so positive because it is the bringing of heaven's Good News.

This is not to be undermined by the slur of 'proselyzer' which has the derogatory implications of capture, control, deception. No, the evangelist has heaven's good news, heaven's call and heaven's power!!

The good news of Jesus Christ. His coming, His message, His works, His substitutionary death, resurrection, ascension and sure return. His invitation to all people to come to heaven's banquet.

Jesus Himself was the first with the noble calling of evangelist and deliberately brought others into this calling with His word, "As the Father has sent Me, I am sending you."

Do you have this calling on your life? Don't be discouraged or let it be denigrated and discontinued. You have on your shoulders heaven's mantle, the noble calling of evangelist.
