Flying into Wellington, the capital city of New Zealand, across the deep valleys of the hills surrounding the area.
The area is used for Wind Farms, creating energy by capturing the wind which sweeps through the peaks and valleys.
He is the God of the valleys.
The enemy thinks when God's people go through a valley he can defeat them. He does not realise that God is the God of the valley as well as the peak, and He holds His people who are in there. 1 Kings 20:28
David said that even in the 'valley of the shadow of death' he would find God there, standing with His people. Psalm 23
Moses described life with the Lord as a land of hills and valleys that drinks rain from heaven (a beautiful description of the Holy Spirit), and that this rain falls equally in valleys as on peaks. His people may at times be in a deepest valley in which there is little light yet the rain of heaven is there. Deuteronomy 11:11
Gospel singer Lynda Randle brings a wonderful song about this very truth, 'God on the mountain'. For anyone in the valley at present this song is such an encouragement to listen to. Can be found on YouTube.
"Do not fear the valley, I am the God of the valleys and will meet you there. My rain of heaven will fall there, upon you and around you. I love you, hold you in My arms, and use you."
